These products are extremely useful and are extensively applied because polyethylene elbow is used in all cases where the direction of the pipe is required to be changed.
A simple knee is applied in order to change the direction of water in pipes and has a 90-degree angle. Both ends of this elbow are connected to a polyethylene pipe. Polyethylene pipes have good flexibility, but we use this type of elbow in some cases, particularly in spaces that are small or we want to set pipes in better order. One of the features of this coupling is to open it and apply it for the next time. This coupling has high resistance to UV rays of sunlight, cold and chemicals due to the materials applied in it.
In general, 90 Elbow’s components include:
Body: Polypropylene copolymer
Socket: Polypropylene copolymer
Split: Polyoxymethylene (POM)
Bushing: Polypropylene
O-ring: (NBR_SBR-EPDM) can be delivered upon the customer’s request.
These components that are available in the polyethylene 90 elbow fitting/coupling cause that the two polyethylene pipes to be easily connected in the form of screw together and completely sealed.
Elbows are used for parts where the water-carrying pipe is required to be bent. The elbow as a coupling and fitting helps to block pipe breaking during screws. Although using unreasonably and additionally elbow fittings produces a drop in pressure in the pipe, but in many cases, it is required to be used for the performance of the irrigation and water supply system.
This coupling can be installed very quickly and easily due to its screw nature and enhances the speed of the operation in the irrigation system.
